A door is made up of basic accessories on the one hand and optional accessories on the other. The term optional means that these fittings are not essential for the door to open and close, but they are still important for a good installation, and knowing how to choose them and how they work is part of the process.

There are three basic accessories for most doors: handles, latches and hinges. In general, these are easy-to-understand products and, although we may have specific needs, they generally help to turn the door in the case of hinges, to operate the latch in the case of the handle and to block the closing of the door in the case of the latch. On the other hand, there are accessories. This is a very wide world full of more and more types of hardware.
