The world of wardrobe fittings and accessories is vast and constantly evolving. New products, more modern materials and finishes, and even easier installation are always coming out. However, despite this, there are things that never change, and one of them is the way in which wardrobe rods are installed, on which hangers are then hung.
We are going to see step by step how to install bars with support in your furniture and cabinets so that you can do it yourself at home.
How to install bars with supports step by step
1. You must measure the space in the closet (inside from left to right) to see the length of the bar you need.
2. Once measured, you must choose a bar that is either the size of the gap or larger and then cut it with a saw.

3. You will also need to choose the supports . A support will always be installed on each side of the bar and if the gap is more than 1.5 metres long , we recommend installing a central support as well.
To choose the supports, you must take into account the height and width of the bar so that it fits correctly.
Note : There are side supports and there are ceiling supports. Depending on your needs and the options offered by the furniture, you will have to choose one or the other.
4. Finally, screw the brackets into the furniture and place the cut bar into the corresponding brackets.
Tip : When cutting the bar, you should take into account not only the width of the closet space but also the thickness of the supports. The bar will always be about 5mm shorter (or maybe a little more) than the width of the space.
Find the bars and supports that best fit your furniture and start organizing your spaces in the best possible way.
